Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does come with little support brackets, but I went out and got bigger brackets just to be safe. It is pretty heavy and I didn't want to risk it falling. Installation is hard and it takes 2 people. Once we got the brackets up and the surrounding case, the air conditioner just slides right in. It has the side accordion panels, but nothing for the top. We had to cut plywood and surround it with that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are support brackets on the outside of the window. They only adjust the height of the AC unit so that it drains properly. They are not meant to hold weight. I have no problem with the unit in my window. It is very well balanced and the window is the only thing holding it there. No damage to my window at all. I was extremely surprised once it was installed. When I first saw the brackets I thought they were for support. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It comes with 2 small brackets. They go outside, under the unit. If you're really worried, buy a better after market support (they're chintzy metal brackets, but do the job). We debated not using them because our window sill is extra deep and provides more support than usual, but ended up using them (just in case).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Installation is simple as the inside of the unit slides out of the shell and you just have to mount a 10-12 pound shell then slide the insides back in to the shell, it comes with all brackets needed
