QuestionFreezer operating in cold tempsEarlier you wrote that temps below 32 degrees would not effect operation of the freezer. I want to reconfirm that. Postings on the web seem to indicate that cold temps could cause the freezer to stop working or even damage the compressor. The temp in my garage, where the freezer will be located, could get to 15 below zero. Please confirm that this cold temp will not negatively effect the operation of the freezer or damage the freezer. Thank you.

- Answer Upright freezers will pull a vacuum when the door is closed. Thus making it difficult to open the door. If you close the door you should hear a whistling sound.

QuestionDoes the freezer come with the door already attached? Our doorway is 31 inches and with the door the freezer will not fit. The website lists the depth as 27.5 inches so I thought maybe the freezer in the box is this size?

QuestionFFFH20F2QW has holes for 2 more shelves. How do you remove a shelf in order to move it? I removed the grommet from one of the shelves, but the shelf wouldn't budge.

Ensuring that the door is sealing properly and the vents are not blocked can prevent any frost/freezing matters, as blocking the vent can restrict the airflow preventing it from cooling as designed. QuestionThere are holes for two more shelves. The salesman said they are just for re-positioning--I can't fit extra shelves in because I have to tilt them to get them in. What will make the wide gaps more usable? Hanging shelves? Hanging baskets? Stacking?

QuestionSo the 20 cu ft freezer just got delivered and the door is extremely hard to open without having to shake rattle and roll. What might the best thing to do about this be? Plugged in or not it is really hard to open. Afraid handle may get ripped off.
