“How does an electric broiler work in a gas oven? Never heard of this. Do I have to have any special set up for broiler to work? Maybe I bought the wrong oven or won't be able to use broiler. I'm concerned about this a lot.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, Moviepach! No worries! The electric broiler will work as soon as you plug the oven in; it only requires a standard 120-volt connection. Because gas ovens heat from below and broilers are designed to heat food from the top, you can only have a gas flame broiler in a separate cavity below the oven. This model includes an electric broiler at the top of the oven cavity for convenience and to provide variable heat settings. It does not require any special setup. ~Ashton
