• Yes, it can be transported horizontally, but be sure to allow standing in upright/vertical position for 24 hrs before plugging up to start, so refrigeration gases can settle before use.

• Hi Bill. If necessary yes. However, the rule of thumb is that the refrigerator should sit upright twice as long as it was horizontal before plugging in. Thank you for the inquiry. ~ Anna
