• Settings are 1 -5. I would start on 3 and then adjust to 4 or 5 (colder) depending on your preference. It may cool somewhat quickly but it's stablized temp won't be for at least a day or two.

• My unit was preset at 3 which is plenty cold...I may knock it down a notch. My water bottles are really crisp and refreshing.

• The refrigerator comes preset. Once you place the unit where it will stay, let it sit long enough for the internal refrigerant to settle, then plug it in, It may take several hours to actually reach the temperature it is set at, up to 12 hours, so adjusting it before then only messes up how it was set. Best to wait for it to reach its ultimate temperature before attempting to adjust.
