Hi there, our valued customer! The vent system can terminate either through the roof or wall. Use a 7” (17.8 cm) round vent with a maximum length of 50 ft (15.2 m) for the vent system. Installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified person(s) in accordance with all applicable codes and standards, including fire-rated construction. -Chris
