Hello! Thanks for reaching out! It's not uncommon for an oven to emit some smoke or produce a slight burning smell when it is used for the first time or after a long period of inactivity. This is often due to the burning off of any residues or protective coatings applied during the manufacturing process. If the oven continues to produce smoke after the initial use, it might be helpful to clean the interior. Any remaining manufacturing residues or spills could be causing the smoke. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning. We hope this information is useful to you. ~Sam
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Idk if it’s normal but mine did—actually, it took three times to get the right stove, but the first one smoked because the guys forgot to take a piece of plastic off the rack. I don’t think the second one smoked, but I may not recall, and the third one smoked but I think it was because there was something smeared on the inside of the oven. So check the oven to see if it’s clean and to make sure all plastic has been removed. Mine doesn’t smoke now.
