If your burners aren’t igniting on a brand new stove then something is up but for an older stove, you need to clean out the little holes where the gas comes out. They get debris and clog up every so often. The tool to do this can be bought on Amazon for under $5 (or handyman can do for about $300). It looks like an army knife with a bunch of different sized metal rods. One of the rods should fit the size of the holes and just swivel it around to loosen/break off any debris. Good luck!
