I do not think it is very quiet. Ok for a living room but kind of wakes my husband up when it cycles on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only noise you hear is the fan blowing which is loud enough theres is no loud compressor noise if thats what you mean. You can always pit it on low speed, but i have noticed all the quiet ac’s arent that cold.

With a window mounted design, the compressor is obviously in the window so all window units will have noise from that compressor. With this specific model, I can stand if front of the unit and carry on a conversation without being bothered by the noise of the AC unit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's definitely less noisy than most others I've tried, especially on the low fan setting. I typically leave the fan on auto and it's not super loud. I can definitely tolerate it and I really can't take loud sounds.
