No, it does not. The process of dehumidifying the air generates warm air.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The dehumidifier produces warm air from the compression process, so it will warm a room on its own. However, by reducing the humidity, it will permit your air conditioning to operate more efficiently. It will remove the need for your A/C to do as much de-humidification, and also, by drying the room, will make a higher room temperature more comfortable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer is no. It is basically an ac unit. It blows warm air as the condenser is on. It blows cooler air when condenser is off. It actually warmed up the cellar while it was running.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The net effect is that it warms the air. The electric energy is released into the room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Base upon how a dehumidifier works, most likely not. In order to get the cooling coils cold, the heat has to be drawn off and expelled. My dehumidifier pumps out warm air which is tolerable (i.e., not like a space heater) but not real comfy to walk through.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. They condense moisture by cooling. They exhaust warm air. Air conditioners blow cold and dehumidify
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It runs on cool air and heated air. Mine FFAD 7033R1A0. Runs on 2.2 amps low, 3.6 amps on high fan. Air is side venting. Best when warm air blows out. If top vents, warm heat blows directly up and around house. No increase negligible electric bill. Hope they make more 70 pt with low amps. Unit about 5 yrs old now. All their other units run on higher amps 6.7 amps on high and all other dehumidifiers only lasted 1 - 2 years. D. Mack
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not blow cool air but by taking the humidity out it cools things down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have owned Frigidaire dehumidifiers for a couple of years. They work great for keeping our finished basement dry where our weather is humid. However, the air that is blown out from the unit is warm and would net help your AC maintain a comfortable temperature. Less humid, yes; cooler, no.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine blow warm air. Not going to cool anything off, in fact, it has raised the temperature a couple of degrees in the room
