“How often do I need to drain the water out of this air-conditioner”

• You don't need to drain the a/c. Water is exhausted as vapor through the exhaust pipe. The only time water is collected is when you use it as a dehumidifier, and then you need a hose to empty the water.

• Hose either drains through the floor. Or use a large dishwashing pan for adequate water volume
