• The demo function/control is on. You need to switch it to off.

• Perhaps you have had power outages, and the processor is confused. Try unplugging for 30 seconds and plug back in.

• It might be that the microwave is on a demo setting. To turn it off on my model, I had to click the clock settings until it read Op-5, then wait till it flashed 'Off', then hit start. You can google Frigidaire microwave demo setting and there are some helpful videos on how to turn off the demo mode. I was relieved that the fix was just in the settings and I didn't have to replace any parts.

• I just had a new (2023) OTR Microwave installed and it would only work for about 3 seconds. I checked the Demo mode and it was off. I turned it on and then off again. I also unplugged the unite and then plugged it back in. It worked after that.
