QuestionDoes the trim kit insert any into the cabinet or is it fully outside the face of the cabinet?

- Answer Technically , I guess it could sit inside, if your opening is large enough. I think that defeats one of the purposes of the trim kit though. The trim kit is suppose to sit on the outside as to cover up the whole/opening that the microwave goes into, making your microwave to look like a "built in" appliance.

- Answer It’s a seperate purchase however it’s pictured in all stock photos of this microwave. I got stuck w trim kit couldn’t return n builder didn’t leace room for it so 130 dollars just sitting there

QuestionDoes this microwave allow you to use the timer while you are cooking something? My old microwave had that function. I could set a timer for something else while I was cooking in it. I thought it was standard but it’s not.

- Answer The Timer is on while you're cooking / heating up something in the microwave & stops when "heating up" is finished. The timer is only set when you have something in the microwave & cannot be used for other purposes.

- Answer There is a PDF in the file below under "Product Specifications Sheet" which gives a description that that shows the required cabinet dimensions. You will have to make sure the microwave will fit in your existing cabinet. - Answer Hi there Timmertoo. The MWTK27KF and the MWTK27FGUF have a different design. The MWTK27FGUF has a solid finish as shown above. The MWTK27KF has a black vent like trim above and below the microwave. Hope this helps. ~ Anna
