A:AnswerHi Zils72! For the most efficient operation, the freezer should be located where the surrounding temperatures will not exceed 110 degrees Fahrenheit. If the temperatures exceed 110 degrees Fahrenheit, it can possibly cause the freezer to work harder to cool. Hope this helps! -CiCi
A:AnswerWe use our as a refrigerator. So I can't answer this definitevely. But in my experience it stays in the mode it was set to after a power outage. It came defaulted to freezer mode, so I can't imagine it would change itself to refrigerator after an outage.
