For reasons only Frigidaire knows, they reduced the tine height to 2.5" from 3.5" on all the lower racks in the gallery line, but seem to still appreciate the need in the other lines. They don't tell you this before installing and buying however. Large plates around 10" or more and especially Dansk style deep plates won't stand up. No fix as Frigidaire admits in their response. Makes no sense and they should clarify before purchase and install. Why didn't they make the racks interchangable or allow modification with the lay-down tines being different height?
