QuestionOWNER FOR 2 YEARS THIS SUMMER TURNED ON I CAN HEAR HUMMING - COMPRESSOR? BUT LITTLE TO NO BLOWING OF ANY AIR. COULD THE FAN MOTOR BE BLOWN IN 2 SUMMERS 6M OF USE MAX? i CANNOT FIND THE MANUAL NOR RECEIPT HOW LONG IS WARRANTY FOR PARTS LIKE FAN MOTOR?.

QuestionThank you Frigidaire support for you response regarding my two yr old Frigidaire a/c FFRA2822R2 whose fan has stopped working. I located the manual and it states 2yrs limited warranty on the AC and 3-5 yrs on the closed system. Why are we being told 1yr?

QuestionWhen it says it is meant for 1900 square feet, is that based off of one single room that big or could it cool down the entire first floor of a home?

- Answer I installed mine through the wall. I am pretty capable handy-man wise but there was nothing about the unit that required anything other than a hole in the wall with strong enough structure to hold this 150lb unit.

- Answer Hi, Bram. Thanks for your inquiry. I am bummed out to learn about the issue with your air conditioner. Have you cleaned your air filter recently? A dirty air filter may affect your unit’s cooling performance. Do you run your a/c unit at night? The Temperature may be set too low for night-time cooling. Try setting the temperature to a higher setting. If you notice any frost forming on your unit’s coils, set to FAN ONLY mode to defrost the coil. Feel free to reconnect with any additional questions about your home comfort appliance. QuestionI have a 250v 20 amp outlet. It has three prong holes, the grounding, one horizontal prong hole and one vertical prong hole. Would this plug into that kind of outlet? What Amps does it use?
