“12 cups, but how many oz for each cup? What is the total 12cup oz size? Some pots are 6oz, some as low as 4oz while we expect 8oz to be a cup. How many oz is 12 cups on this machine?”

I filled up the carafe with water to the 12 cup mark on the side of the carafe, then poured it into a large, glass, cook type measuring cup. The water level was just above the "2 Quarts/8 Cups" mark on the measuring cup. We use coffee mugs and we get somewhere between 4 to 5 mugs out of it each day.
