• The length of the cables is probably around 36 inches. The black USB cord is used to operate the controllers when plugged into the adapter. The white one is used to enable the rumble feedback on the controllers. I hope this helps.

• The cable’s right around a foot and a half in length and it has two usb cables becasue one provides power to the actually adapter and the second provides the rumble feature on the GameCube controllers. You could play without the second usb cable and just stick with the power if you wanted to use a second adapter for another 4 controllers.

• The cable is 3 ft long. The black USB is the only one that needs to be plugged in to play with a Gamecube controller. The grey USB just activates the Rumble feature on Gamecube controllers, it is not necessary to plug this USB in to play games
