If you are really not wanting a cord, gopro cameras have interchangeable batteries and you can get a suction cup adapter for the windshield. But gopros are more expensive than dashcams and dont do well in extreme heat like in a windshield during the summer months. Dashcameras are designed with that in mind, and there are many ways to "hide" power cords.
