- Answer I haven't tried this one in Canada yet, but when you turn on the GPS, there will be Country Selections, so Canada will be included in them. Just make sure to update it all the time.

QuestionDo Garmen products require you to have wi-fi, smartphone, car touch screens/smartchips (I guess), to work and tell you where you are and where to go? If they require that, what product's DON'T require such things?

- Answer You can use this product just as a gps for your car or truck/semi. But I do recommend to download the app it requires as it will benefit you way more on the road and it’s very low maintenance. Only maintenance is probably just software maintenance but according to the ones I’ve been having and rarely is just upgrading the map. Locations etc.

- Answer Hey there, the gps I have the garmin otr700 is pretty good. I’ve had to look up some locations on my current iPhones gps and google maps to find my location but when I put the address on the otr700 it takes me to the location and the entrance for trucks. I haven’t had any trouble with this. So far so good.

- Answer Yes this model displays the highway you’re on in the thin line at the center bottom. It displays the mile marker just to the right. I set it up to display mileage to destination, elevation and ETA. Because we are a team I set the timing for eta at 50 mph. This appears as trip data on the right side of the map. If you connect it to garmin drive app on your phone it will update you on traffic and you can check weather on your route. That gives time for accurate eta after meals,breaks, showers etc.
