• It also comes with a USB cable. since not all cars have cigarette lighters anymore . Now you can charge it anywhere there is a USB port. BTW the box and inside paper does not mention the cable, but it is there..

• It does not come with a car power adapter. But I learned that a USB charger, which I had for another device, will charge the battery and allow using the GPS in the house. Entering a number of addresses in the device without using up the battery charge is convenient.

• Sure, there's a USB cable, but it's designed for updates from the home PC. Length might be 24 inches, that's not real handy for attaching to a vehicle's USB port.
