If weather and traffic aren't working, those are items that require information either from another device like your phone or a cable that can receive that information. Assuming you don't have the latter, it sounds like it has something to do with its integration with your phone. Have you gone through all of the options on the Garmin itself to see that it's still talking to your phone correctly, and that it is attempting to receive such information? Did you update your phone at all? I have a flip phone so I do not use the Garmin with my phone, just with that GTM 60 cable. I have yet to experience any problems myself.
