Does this GPS work for trucks? Depends on what type of truck you are asking about. We do not have a semi so I can not answer that. We installed this GPS in our 2014 Ram 2500 pickup and it works beautifully. We also pull a 30-foot travel trailer with no problem. This GPS did come with the updates when we purchased it this past February 2021. We make sure to run the updates on this GPS every year otherwise you might miss something. The heights of bridges are also included so you are not traveling on roads with low bridges. There are many great features with this new GPS you just have to sit down and play with it to find what you want. Good Luck and enjoy. Hope that helps.
