It is not too big for women . I wear my watch everyday
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't let the online images mislead you... I have small-medium sized wrists and it looked too big while I stared at it in its display case. But once I put it on, it really doesn't look big at all. That's a common comment made by many and they're right! And it's incredibly light and not a clunky GPS watch as might be expected. And yes, it most definitely has its stand alone proprietary GPS from Garmin, as opposed to watches that piggyback off of the GPS function on one's smartphone.

Please try again later. It has GPS and GLONASS (another type of GPS) built in so you don't need to bring your phone with you like some of the Fitbit watches, unless you want to listen to music during your activity. The watch size is not gigantic and I think would wear well on a woman's wrist. I wear mine everyday as it also has built in activity tracker features, such as steps as well as movement reminders if you are inactive for too long, and also provides Smart Notifications so I don't need to pull my phone out every time I get a text, email, phone call, etc.
