• Yes a WiFi connection is required. Make sure you download garmin connect app and it will work well.

• Yes, the scale is WiFi enabled and controlled through the Garmin Connect app. Simply download the Garmin Connect app on your iphone to transfer the data to your phone.

• The scale can be set up through the Garmin Connect Mobile app as the set up interface, but it it connects directly to a wireless network. Once the set up is complete the Index Smart Scale communicates directly to the Wifi network. • If you download the Garmin Connect app you can connect to iPhone via bluetooth. You do not need to use the wifi functionality.
