Yes degrees and mills. Interesting azimuth feature. Point a direction, select a distance and it will create a waypoint there, and guide you to it.

I haven't seen a setting to change it to mils, but I also haven't needed to do that in years before I got the watch so I never looked. But yes, you could (theoretically) shoot an azimuth using the watch. IDK if that would be my 1st choice for navigating though. something to test out maybe.
