Yes, the Mini Dash Cam will immediately begin recording video when it is turned on. It will continue to record, overwriting the oldest non-protected videos, until the device is turned off. While recording, the LED near the screen on the device will remain a solid red even if the display has dimmed. This dash cam requires at least an 8 GB microSD™ card (supports up to 512 GB), Class-10 or faster (not included).
