QuestionI am looking for two cameras. Was wondering if i am able to pair 2 cameras to one phone. And do I have to pair the camera to my phone every time I get in the vehicle. Even if my phone isn’t near by does it still record?

- Answer i have an iphone and you can pair 2 dash cam mini at the same time. you only pair them once. with or without your phone nearby, it will record as soon as power is turned on. you only use your phone to view videos recorded or to view live view of your camera. it will ask to pair with your phone via its own wifi signal to connect to the camera. note though, that when you connect your phone to the camera (to view recordings, watch live view, or do settings), it stops recording. red light on the camera means its recording.

Questioncan the camera be turned or set in a location to video the interior of the car if need be?

- Answer The camera can be mounted and aimed any way you want. The design of the mount does not allow the camera to be pointed at the interior of the car if the mount is attached to the windshield. But 2 mounts are included so you could attach the second mount to the back of the rear view mirror. Also, if used as an interior can, you'd need some sort of illumination to capture the interior at night, or under dimly lit situations. A better solution for interior recording would be the Dash Cam Tandem.

- Answer Yes, the base (or mount) is essentially permanently attached to the windshield. But the camera snaps on to and off of the mount fairly easily.

- Answer Yes, is called Garmin Drive and works perfect. From the App you can see the recordings and also see more than one camera. I downloaded mine from the Apple App Store.

- Answer No. The only way to watch the video feed is through your phone with the Garmin Drive app.

- Answer The camera doesn’t have an internal battery, it needs to be power constantly. That way is going to start recording when you turn on your car. Now, if you connect the camera to a portable power bank you can record just make sure is the same amount of miliamps required to power the camera.

- Answer Yes, it records audio. The dash cam records in MP4 format so there should be no issue with transferring video files to your computer. Most basic video editing software will allow you to stitch the files together.

- Answer I don't think so, but a tech in install can probably answer for sure. I had an accident happen a little ahead of me and I just looked at the time right after it happened and easily found it that way. Besides 15 minute intervals creates a large gap and a strong likely hood it wouldn't be recording when needed.

- Answer Not sure on your question. When you say record all night are you in the car driving or is it parked and you are not in the car? The camera will record without signal. It is when you are viewing that you need a signal to connect camera to phone. It works off my phone's data.

- Answer you can buy a usb extension cable for how much length you want from an electronics store or online. look for a cable with a male and connector on one end and a female connector on another. they’re cheap too

- Answer live in houston. have had dashcam on my vehicles for so many years. never had an issue although have never been pulled over. dash cam mini is very discreet though. will hardly notice it. one of my car has like an imitation gopro that one can clearly see from the outside, but never had an issue with it
