Q: QuestionWhich watch would be better for backcountry hiking through the mountains of Montana, the tactix Charlie or fenix 5x plus? Any advantages to any particular one?

• A:Answer They both have preloaded routable topography maps. The Fenix 5 is aimed a little more towards the athlete and the Tactix Charlie towards a tactical user such as military. Of the two I would lean towards the Tactix for your application.

Q: QuestionI see that the Tactix Charlie will track running. How about biking? Also, does the Fenix 5 meet the same standards for military grade. I just broke the face of my Forerunner that allowed H20 in it and ruined it. I need something that will take a bump.

Q: QuestionMy son is in the army and training to be a ranger. He wants it to track his running as well. Will this be a good choice for him? Mind you he is going to beat it up as well with his job!
