• I am using it with a 770 LMT, and it works fine. The mounting post clips firmly into the base, and does not fall off like a suction cup mount would. The base is a weighted pad, so it may slide across your dash in a fast stop. I like to be able to reposition it, so that doesn't bother me, but if you want to hold it in place you might want to attach the base to your dash with double sided carpet tape.

• The sandbag mount should work with any Garmin GPS. If you have any reasonably level surface on your dash. This unit will work.
