I can't speak for the longevity of the vivoactive 3 music I purchased about a month ago. However I can tell you my Garmin Vivoactive HR model is still goin strong after 3 years of not so gentle use. I'm a big fan of Garmin products based upon an excellent build quality and product longevity. My garmin 810 cycle computer and seen torrential downpours, been buried in the mud and survived a few crashes. Four years ago I purchased Fitbit activity tracker for myself and my wife. Both trackers fell apart within a years time. Based upon my past experience with Garmin products I would expect the Vivoactive 3 hr music to be a dependable activity tracker for many years to come.
