- Answer Hi Scott- Optional Undercabinet Hanging Kit JXA019 (sold separately) does not add to the microwave height. The top of the microwave mounts flush to the bottom of the cabinet. Approximate Microwave Dimensions: 17 1/4" Width x 10 1/8" Height x 13" Depth. Thanks for choosing GE. Enjoy! SUE@GEA

QuestionWhat is the biggest difference between this model and the PEM31SFSS besides 700 vs 800 watts? I have the 800 watt in a cabinet sized space but it is malfunctioning. Will this one work? Need up to 27” wide, 11” tall and 13” deep.

- Answer The biggest difference would be the fact that the PEM31SFSS model has sensor cooking controls, which means the microwave detects the humidity level during cooking to adjust the time and power level and achieve best results. This model could work for you, as it is 17.25" wide x 10.12" tall x 13 inches deep.

Yes, the microwave has an interior light that comes on when the door is open or when the unit is operating. While the features are the same as JES1072SHSS, model JEM3072SHSS has a right-angle plug and designed to be installed under the cabinet to free up counter space with optional Undercabinet Hanging Kit JXA019K.
