Hello Gina - This is a great question and we are happy to help. Some television or radio interference is possible while using any microwave oven. It is similar to the interference caused by other small appliances and does not indicate a problem with the oven. The reason that some microwaves cause this and others do not has to do with manufacturing locations, types of controls and the shielding of the controls in the units. However, we have not had any feedback from our owners that this model causes interference. We hope this helps. Keep in touch! - John@GEA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same issue with an LG microwave that I recently bought, which is why I am shopping for a new one. I am fairly certain it is the "inverter" technology that is the difference and is interfering with our wifi. While all microwaves run on the same wavelength as wifi and can interfere both our old one (Panasonic) and a new one I bough but don't like (Whirlpool) and am returning did not interfere and neither had the inverter technology.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't had any issues.
