If you’re still looking… I have the one you had. Mine is in slate. Works great. Never had any issues. I just did a kitchen remodel and removed all upper cabinets and went with a hood vent option over my stove. I no longer need the microwave.

So we now have a microwave that looks the same but the door only opens about 4 inches. We have to cut into our cabinet in order to get this one to work for us. Very disappointed.

We do truly appreciate you as a loyal GE Appliances consumer, and would like to assist. Unfortunately, model JVM6175EFES is no longer being actively manufactured. We regret any inconvenience this may cause, but we do have several replacement options that may work for you. We are glad to advise all of our 30” over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width and are designed to fit into a 30” wide cabinet opening, so any of our 30” over-the-range models will likely be a good fit as a replacement for your space. (Please note the mounting brackets are model specific, so you would need to use the mounting bracket that comes with the new microwave.) One model that might be a good fit for you, as it has similar dimensions, wattage and capacity and is available in the same finish, is PVM9179ERES. We hope this information is helpful. We’re always happy to assist if you have any other concerns or questions. Thanks for being part of our GE Appliances family! -Sarah@GEA
