QuestionThe photos show multiple different blades, but the "parts included" list only one shows one upper and lower blade, and manual doesn't show any. How many blades actually come with this unit? Where can you buy replacement blades and/or different blades?

- Answer This model comes with three blade accessories; the S-blade, the Dough blade, and the mini s-blade (for use with the mini-chopper bowl). It also includes the following disks; emulsifying, thick slicing and coarse shredding, thin slicing and fine shredding, grating, and French fry. Additional blades and/or disks can be purchased on our GE Appliances Parts website or by calling our parts team at 1-877-959-8688 M-F 9AM-7PM EST.

QuestionHow well does the blade cut french fries? Does it shred them rather than cut regular rectangle fries?

- Answer I don't think the french fry disc makes great french fries. The results are thin, stringy, & only about 2 inches long. More like matchsticks. They make great hash browns, & are delicious air fried. But you won't get a true french fry shape.

QuestionReviewers say food is thrown to the side because blade does not reach close enough to the side. I'm ready to buy but this is stopping me. Is there a newer model that has fixed this problem?

- Answer All food processors do that. I dislike the brands where the chunk of food spins around on the top of the disc, jamming the works. You have to stop the machine, unclick the plunger, twist off the lid, then remove the food avoiding the sharp blade, then put everything back in place only to repeat it all a bit later. The GE, though, throws the chunks into the bowl. You don't have to stop feeding the chute to unclog the disc. When you're done feeding the chute, then fish the chunks out of the work bowl. Much faster & easier.
