How much amps does the 14.1 cubic foot freezer draw null

Hi - Thank you for your interest in a new GE upright freezer. The rated running amps is 1.8. The amperage rating should be multiplied by 2 or 3 to cover the start-up amperage of the compressor. We do recommend the freezer be connected to a dedicated 3-prong grounded outlet protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker. We do hope this helps. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
