QuestionWhat is the operating outside temperature allowance. Can it work OK in a Florida garage? Or max outside operating temperature?

- Answer I've had this in my garage in Phoenix. The hottest it ever got in the garage was 97 degrees. The fridge worked like a champ!

- Answer Hello Donald. This is Lida with GE Appliances. We do not manufacture any model refrigerators specifically designed to work in garages. In fact, if the garage is not temperature controlled, we don't recommend using a refrigerator in the garage. It will not work effectively in very hot or very cold (freezing) temperatures. - Answer Hello cyberdot - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a 3-prong (grounding) plug which mates with a standard 3-prong (grounding) wall outlet to minimize the possibility of electric shock hazard from this appliance. We recommend to have the wall outlet and circuit checked by a qualified electrician to make sure the outlet is properly grounded and complies to local electrical codes. A 115 Volt AC, 60 Hz, 15- or 20-amp fused, grounded electrical supply is required for this refrigerator. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

Question1. Does the light bulb have a plastic cover to protect it? This someone seems to be unprotected (vs other brands). 2. There is sweating/condensation around the freezer door (the fridge part seems to be fine). Is this normal? See pictures.

- Answer There is no cover for the light bulb. And there should be no condensation around the freezer door.
