QuestionAfter the washer cycle ends, the tub will start getting water in, until there are a couple of gallons. The other day, the machine even seems to have started by itself to empty out the water left inside. Not sure if it has to do with my water drain set up.

QuestionOp manual says normal to see water in the bleach n softener dispensers, nothing about in the detergent dispenser. We have the detergent dispenser full of water after each load is finished. We removed tape blocking hole out of dispenser. Is this normal?

You may want to use an extra rinse cycle to see if this lessens the amount. Also, you may want to clean the dispenser drawer per the Owners Manual. We hope this helps!

QuestionI installed washer and it routinely walks across my ceramic tile floor the feet are leveled does it need a rubber mat underneath to stop it from wandering across the room?

- Answer Hi Paul- Thanks for choosing GE! If the washer is level, an unbalanced load can also cause this situation. Redistribute clothes and run Drain & Spin. - Answer Hi - Thanks for choosing GE! We are sorry to hear your washer does not drain/spin and happy to provide assistance. The washer pump filter may be clogged. Due to the nature of the front-load washer, it is sometimes possible for small articles to pass to the pump. The washer has a filter to capture lost items so they are not dumped to the drain. Open the door on the bottom right of the front of the unit. Twist the small white cap counterclockwise a quarter turn and unhook the small rubber hose. Pull the hose out of the hole and remove the white drain hose plug above a small pan to capture any water that may drain. Drain the excess water. Replace. Unscrew the pump filter. Rinse. Replace. Close the access door (See page 10 of the Owner's Manual). QuestionI am replacing an Asko compact washer which heats the water. Does the GE have a heating element? Or does it require a hot and cold feed? Also, can your washer be plugged directly into a wall outlet for power?

- Answer The GE does have a heating element, but I believe it only turns on when you use the "sterilize" cycle (not sure of the exact name) to heat the water more than the temperature that comes from the Hot tap. I'm not sure if you can only connect to a cold water tap and then heat the water for each load.

QuestionWHEN I'M DONE WITH THE WASHING MACHINE, I LIKE TO KEEP THE DOOR SLIGHTLY OPENED SO IT LETS THE MOISTURE OUT, HOWEVER... THE DOOR DOES NOT STAY IN THE SEMI CLOSED POSITION, IT TENDS TO SLOWLY CREEP BACK OPEN IS THIS NORMAL OR SHOULD BE ADJUSTED?

QuestionI asked "Does this washer handle a flannel queen sheet and pillow case set?" The answer did not reflect an understanding that FLANNEL sheets were part of the question. Flannel is much more bulky than regular sheets. Does the washer handle a FLANNEL set?

QuestionIs this the same unit as model number WCVH4800K2WW? I have this washer that was damaged because the installer didn't take out the shipping rods unbeknownst to me- it is currently stacked with the GE dryer DCVH480EKOWW- both are only 5 months old.

When the model is manufactured, the extra number (2) is placed on the appliance rating plate and product registration card. This number is used to identify manufacturing specific data when the appliance is made. Should service or parts be needed, this is used as an identifier for the specific appliance. QuestionThe description for this washing machine mentions an "End-of-cycle signal" and there's a light on the front that says "signal on" but I can't find anywhere in the online docs that says whether the end of cycle signal is via Bluetooth or via Wifi? App?

- Answer I had to read the manual link you posted (thanks) to interpret your answer - so "The end of cycle signal is part of the machine operation" translates as "it's an audible beep, and the signal button/light is actually a mute switch/mute indicator". :-)
