Ok so use a letter opener or knife and gently put into slot on vent cover and gently push down to open the door. You need a flat pan to put under it after you have opened it because you need to unplug the water tube and let any existing water drain out and then turn the inside mechanism to pull out the lint trap. Remember yo reinsert the plug on the water line after drained. I would use something like a cookie sheet to hold the water when it comes out.

(The flow of air takes the lint to a zone that is not accessible, but the buildup is flushed away during the rinse cycle of the next wash.) To open the access door of the drain pump filter (located at the lower right bottom of the unit) try using a coin or flat screwdriver in the notch on the door. We hope this helps!
