Hi I just finished figuring this out. Our new GE fridge door handles just snap into place. There is no Allen key or Allen key screw. There are two plastic snaps that the handles have to snap into. For the first few weeks the handles kept popping off of the doors if we pulled them the wrong way. I finally realized that you need to use a large amount of force and pull very firmly down on the handles until they snap into place. You will know when you have done it right!!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We received the Allen wrench with our refrigerator. But then again we picked it and installed it ourselves. Perhaps the tech took the Allen wrench with him..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi sb3688 - Thanks for reaching out to us. The handle simply "snaps" into mounting fasteners. To tighten the fasteners, remove the handle by sliding to the left and use a screwdriver to tighten. We suggest to view page 21 of the Installation Guide regarding the handles: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60805-2.PDF - Also view a video- BOTTOM MOUNT AND FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR - ATTACHING, TIGHTENING, OR REMOVING THE HANDLES: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=34615 - Keep in touch!
