Q: Questionspecs state that it is not frost free, manual defrost. does this mean that the frig has to be turned off periodically to get the defrost?

Q: QuestionI see GE sells a filter for the ice maker. If I have this unit, does the water filter also filter the water that makes the ice or do I need both a water filter and an ice filter?

Q: QuestionThis looks to be an updated version of the model that I have now, which has has consistent issues with the water dispenser freezing up and the defroster clogging and leaking water all over my floor. Have those issues been resolved?

• A:Answer Hello Valik - Use caution when using a refrigerator installed on a hard floor. Due to the size of the doors and the strength of the door gaskets, it is possible that it may roll or move when one of the doors is opened. Since the rollers / wheels do not lock in place, it may help to place a piece of wood, a small wood wedge, or plastic furniture coaster (with felt on the bottom) under the wheels to prevent rolling. Re-level the refrigerator if necessary. - TREY@GEA
