Hello - We appreciate you reaching out! The water filter cartridge is located in the fresh food interior on the left side wall, near the top. It should be replaced at least every six months - a filter indicator light will illuminate on the screen when the water filter needs to be replaced. The part number for the filter cartridge is RPWFE and it looks like it can be purchased online here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/water-filter-for-select-ge-refrigerators-white/3757022.p?skuId=3757022.
