Q: QuestionWill this refrigerator fit thru a 30 inch door opening? Can the refrigerator door be removed to fit through the door opening?

• A:Answer Hi there - These are great questions! The refrigerator and freezer doors can both be removed for easier installation. Check out pages 24 and 25 of the owner's manual for instructions on how to do so: https://files.bbystatic.com/wvsBQaaP7WQH8cGGVgMBDg%3D%3D/235c7797-ee33-48cd-b52c-f48b61b0d8d7.pdf. • A:Answer Hey there, we're happy to help. The sides of this refrigerator only require 1/8" of clearance on each side so this unit will fit your space. In addition, the width of the doors when open 90 degrees is 33.25" not including the handle so you should be able to operate this just fine in your space. • A:Answer The temp. for the frig. Should be 36 and the freezer is 0 Somewhere on the panel are up and down arrows. Mine are on the door panel, some older models were inside the door at the top. Good luck!

Upon comparing the two models, we've seen that the Energy Star model (GSE) does not have LED lighting while the non Energy Star model (GSS) does have LED lighting. This model is compatible with GE Water Filtration XWF (MWF is used on models manufactured prior to June 2018). Also, the XWFE Filter replaces the XWF Filter and is embedded with Leak-Detecting Sensing Technology. This innovation enables refrigerators to shut down the water valve when a leak is detected at the filter. Q: QuestionWe are interested in getting this refrigerator but have a narrow entry to our kitchen (29 1/4). The specs say depth without door is 28 1/2 but hardware under door sticks out (see attached picture). Will this fit trough our entryway?

To remove the base grille, open the doors, remove the screw at each end of the base grille and then pull the grille straight out.
