Hi Triniguy- We provide the Proposition 65 warning when a listed chemical is present in any of our GE Appliances, including our dishwashers, even when there is little or no exposure potential. GE Appliances have not changed in a way that requires this warning. What has changed is the regulation that now requires companies to provide a warning on the product or its packaging. Previously, GE Appliances provided the warning in the owner's manual as required by Prop 65. For more information on the chemicals on the Prop 65 list, see https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov/ - Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
