  • QuestionWe really want another GE refrigerator, but the case height cannot be 69”. We only have clearance of 68.75”. Looking for a side by side stainless steel with ice maker. Approximately 35-36 inches across the front. Any ideas?

  • QuestionAre the feet adjustable so as to make the cabinet height a little less than 69”. We have overhead cabinets at about 59 3/4”. Thanks.

    • Answer Hi JAKIEDANIELS- The filter cartridge should be replaced when the replacement indicator light turns red or if the flow of water to the dispenser or icemaker decreases. After filter replacement, press and hold the WATER FILTER pad on the dispenser for 3 seconds to reset.   • QuestionI have the GE TFX27XR. It is a side my side. I am getting frosty ice build up on the outside lower front of the ice maker and the hole where the ice goes out. How can I stop this from happening?

    • Answer Hi harryboy- Thanks for choosing our GE TFX27XR! Sometimes a small mound of frost, snow, or ice will form on the door in the ice chute. This condition is normal and usually occurs when you have dispensed crushed ice repeatedly. It will eventually evaporate. You can clean frost from the dispenser chute by using a warm damp sponge. For continuous frost, operate the dispenser with the door open and the ice bucket out to see if the flap is closing all the way. If not, you will want to have the dispenser checked by a service technician.
