Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recently bought this refrigerator and haven't yet changed the filter, but it's similar to another GE fridge I have. This filter is part number XWF. I usually order them from GE Parts, but I have seen filters at Lowe's and Best Buy as well. When you receive the filter, it will have instructions as to how to install, but if it's like my previous unit, it simply untwists. To reset the filter timer, simply hold the button in for 3 seconds and the light will go out for another six months.
