Hi! Thanks for reaching out. So sorry to hear that this is happening, truly. Refrigerators with automatic defrost have a drain tube that carries water from the defrost cycle to a fixed drain pan under the refrigerator. There is no routine maintenance for the defrost drain tube or pan. If you have a clogged drain tube, you might see ice and/or water inside on the freezer floor or on the floor in front of the freezer. You may also see water under the full width drawer in the fresh food section. These models require some disassembly to access the defrost drain tube, so we recommend that you contact service. Our team can be contacted by calling: 1-800-432-2737 - Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET, Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET. We hope this is helpful! Best wishes. -Michael@GEA
