• A:Answer My old GE oven was 27 inches wide, too. Had to adjust the sides 1/8th inch and move the shelf up one inch to fit in the same cabinet. GE fit guarrantee would help if you have to make adjustments.

For single and double wall ovens, the vent is below the door to keep electronics cooler, improve appearance, and provide a better door seal at the top. Both of these ovens are self-cleaning. When you want to run a self-clean, make sure to select either the upper or lower oven first, then run the self-clean cycle. We hope this helps. That said, we encourage you to measure the actual opening you have available in your cabinetry to ensure the new model will fit without any modifications as the recommended cutout dimensions have changed fractionally.
