Q: QuestionI have a 25 year old GE inbuilt oven. Model number GE Model # JKP69WOW1WW. Will this above model fit in the space? Will there be any extra electric fitting or moving of wires required? Thank you

We found that the cutout dimensions in the cabinet for your current unit and this one are identical so the oven will fit in your current setup. Q: QuestionWe just had this unit installed, and although the microwave turns on, it does not heat the food. The oven seems to work fine. Is there a quick fix to this, or did I get a lemon??

• A:Answer You need to contact the person who installed this appliance. My microwave works just fine and gets my food super hot fast. You could just have a bad microwave that needs replacing.

• A:Answer Hey Sheila! Based on our research, your older model has the following cutout dimensions: 25" W x 41-1/4" H x 23-5/8" D. The new model has the following cutout requirements: 25" W x 41-1/8" H x 23-1/2" D. It looks like the new model has some small variations in the cutout space, in the height and depth. Some adjustments may need to be made to your cutout space to make sure that this new model will fit. - We do offer a Fit Guarantee as well. GE Appliances guarantees your new qualifying 27" or 30" GE Profile or GE built-in standard single, double or microwave combination wall oven will fit your existing cabinet cut-out of compatible model width and configuration or we will provide up to $300 in the form of a prepaid MasterCard toward the cost of professionally modifying your cabinet’s height or width. • A:Answer I had a cabinet with an old Kenmore unit, which was made by GE, and it fit just fine. One exception - the power cable is behind the unit, and so it juts out a tiny fraction to make room for it. Not a problem. But it fit into our space with no modifications necessary.

Convection microwaves are capable of cooking by microwave, convection or a combination of the two. In a convection microwave oven, a fan in the rear of the microwave blows air across a heater and directs it into the oven. Thanks for checking! Olga
