I also find that clothes are more wrinkled. I do not overload the washer or mix loads of light shirts and heavy sweatshirts. I think it is because of the extremely high-speed spin, since the wash cycle is pretty calm. I have found that the only solution is to put clothes in the dryer, even on just the air setting with no heat, for a few minutes, before I hang them on a clothes line. But that is inconvenient, and lengthens the time it takes to do laundry. I don't always have time to do that. So the wrinkling problem is really a problem, since I hang dry all of my clothes (but not towels, sheets, underwear, etc.). Using fabric softener does not affect it either way, as another person wrote.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Put the Option selector at "Deep water Rinse" for all your loads and leave it there. It trick the computer to think that you are using softener and is drawing more water. NEVER USE SOFTENER IN ANY WASHING MACHINE. It is waste of money and the clothes come out more soiled. At this setting, you would not have the clothes as wrinkled.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't had this problem. I always move things to the dryer as soon as the washer is done, and I don't overload the washer or the dryer when doing clothing that might wrinkle. If I have some shirts in with lots of other things, like heavy towels, I'll dry just the shirts first and remove them from the dryer immediately to hangers. This works fine for me. I use Tide, but I doubt if that makes a difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, This is Joyce from GE. I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. I will be happy to help. Reasons for wrinkling could be due to the following: Improper sorting of the load (i.e. loading large, heavy items with lightweight, delicate materials).Too many items in washer for the load size. Use of incorrect wash and drying cycles. Incorrect water level during the wash cycles (not enough water for amount of clothes). Washing repeatedly in water that is too hot for fabric. Accumulations of lime scale due to use of carbonate detergents. Failure to use fabric softener. Leaving clothes in dryer after tumbling stops.
